Dan Galpin for
President!
While I'm running as a WRITE-IN canidiate, you can sign the petition to have my name added to the 2008 general election ballet - this does NOT mean you must vote for me at the election.
I My first experience with political life was when I signed up for a reality show: "American Candidate." The winner of the show received a cash prize and had an option of being an actual candidate in the 2004 election! Although I was not picked as a finalist to be on the show, you can visit my Political Issues page to know my views. I am running in the 2008 election. I believe it's time for a president that will put Americans first, stop playing the political game, protect our way of life and be more concerned about America's well being than re-election.
America is in need of a president more in tune with Americans; even if that's not me, it must be a working class American! The government, large corporations and mega rich have "raped and pillaged" the American public long enough!
The government has become one that we left: taxation without representation, not to mention all the side deals and corruption from BOTH major political parties! For a strong nation, we need two things: a strong moral foundation and strong economics. Sadly, a vote for Republicans is a sacrifice of strong economics because the trickle down theory does work and free trade agreements are suicide for America. At the same time, a vote for Democrates is a sacrifice of morals. I strongly urge everyone to vote independent in 2008. My campaign slogan says it all: CLEAN THE SLATE IN 2008!
Corporations have devalued the wages in this country to the point that the average worker can no longer support his/her family without the spouse working or having two jobs.
The mega rich have abused their holdings and inflated prices due to their greed.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the American dream, but those in power have a responsibility to those that do the work. If a society expects a person to work, then that same society needs to ensure the minimum wage is enough for the worker to pay the mandatory bills to live in such a society.
